A volunteer organization dedicated to science-based horticulture and education

Who we are

The Portage County Master Gardener Volunteers (PCMG) is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to service and education. Members help residents learn about gardening, best horticulture practices, pests, and diseases. Portage County volunteers complete training and continuing education to be certified Master Gardener through the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Division of Extension, Horticulture program.

Join us for our annual spring flower sale featuring annuals and perennials from Heath Nursery and an even wider selection of annuals and perennials from our local Master Gardeners.

Cash or Local Checks Accepted.​

If you missed us at the Plant Sale, we will have more plants available at the Stevens Point Farmers Market starting on June 20​
